Bio:

My name is Kate Kwiatkowski and I was one of the Directors of Animation here at King and The Pawn. Although I focused primarily on animation, I worked a lot on the models of the film, creating over 40 different furniture and prop pieces, some which made it into the film, some, sadly, did not. (of which you can catch a sneak peek of them in the artbook!) This film has helped me rise up to become a better artist, and has taught me so many new and unforgettable skills, like how to texture, light, rig, and push out renders. I also had the absolute pleasure of working with the best team ever. This team is so well put together. Everyone pulls their own weight, and I am so proud to be a part of such an amazing film and an amazing project. We have had our ups and downs, our left and right, and our diagonals (That's how chess works, right?), but through it all, we all came together and created something I will never forget.
